Branding • Environmental Design
JibJab Bros. Studios was the parent company for JibJab and StoryBots. Working with the Chief Creative Officer, I led design direction for the studio logo, front desk, conference rooms and mezzanine stage. The visual aesthetic reflects the nature of the studio, integrating a playful respect for the past, with a bright, fun hope for the future.
DESK DESIGN • SIGNAGE
Having moved into a sprawling, renovated hangar as an office, I had the fun opportunity to design the walk-in experience for our office lobby. Being an industrial space, and working closely with the COO, I used wood, whites, and pops of color to create a welcoming environment. In addition to designing the reception desk and typographic etching, I turned the partition into an art installation that says “Hello” and looks like a giant, free-standing picture frame, similar to the colorful images marking each conference room.
Mural Design • Environmental Design
The founders of JibJab are highly creative and hard-working, who draw inspiration from titans in art, technology, business and history. Since JibJab is about positive communication, I designed a multi-wall mural featuring influential historical figures expressing colorful speech bubbles of wisdom and insight. This mural spans 3.5 walls, and leads visitors from the lobby to the main work space.
